What exactly does AgentSweep do?+

It finds known storage locations used by AI editors, coding agents, and model tools on your Mac. It measures those locations, groups them by tool, and lets you review selected files or folders before removing them.

Does it read my conversations or upload my files?+

No. Scanning uses filesystem metadata such as paths, sizes, and modification times. It does not read conversation text, credentials, or database contents, and does not send scan results to a server.

Is everything it finds safe to delete?+

Some locations contain saved work, settings, models, or sign-in data. AgentSweep shows the removal scope in a review step. Read that review and quit the owning tool before removing its files. Nothing is removed automatically.

Can I undo a cleanup?+

Move to Trash is the default. The app offers Undo for the last successful batch until another cleanup or app exit. Permanent deletion requires another confirmation and cannot be undone. Items in Trash still occupy disk space until you empty it.

How can I install it?+

Download AgentSweep, open the DMG, and drag the app into Applications. Requires macOS 14 or later and an Apple silicon Mac. This preview is not notarized by Apple, so macOS may block it on first launch.
